Evaluations
Prospective athletes must be evaluated for training placement prior to joining SEGA. At minimum, athletes must be able to swim 25 yards of the pool legally in each of the 4 competitive disciplines making appropriate forward progress. Exceptions are made for knowledge and competency of each stroke but proficiency needs some more time. Additional skills and endurance will be evaluated based on the athlete’s age and commitment interest. Evaluations are free to the prospective athlete.
In consideration of joining SEGA, it is understood that prospective athletes and families agree to all team policies and financial obligations that come with joining SEGA. Confirming agreement with these policies will take place during the registration process. There are no fees or financial obligation for evaluations.
