Youth Competitors Fee Schedule

In agreement to joining SEGA, it is understood there is a financial commitment to cover administrative costs and professional coaching, which extends beyond practice time. Monthly training payments are due in full by the 5th of each month. 

Payments may be sent via Venmo (recommended) to @Swim_SGAFoundation, given to Board Member (Dawn or Pamela) in form of a check or money order, or mailed (ask Board member for address). All checks or money orders should be made payable to Southern Georgia Aquatic Foundation.

2023-24 Youth Fee Schedule

Fixed Costs (per swimmer yearly)

  • Team Registration – $130 to SEGA
  • USA Swimming Registration – $70 to USA Swimming. (Board member can provide instructions on USAS registration)

Monthly Dues (August 2023 – July 2024)

The Swimmer’s Group assigned is subject to the coaching staff’s approval.

  • Bronze – Practice 2x/week – $120
  • Silver – Practice 4x/week – $140
  • Gold – Practice unlimited/month – $160
  1. Monthly dues cover lane rental for practice, professional coaching, and any other incidentals. Families will be billed each month for 11 months, with the first bill due Sept 1 and the last bill due July 1 of the following year. 
  2. Team registration is in August.  Registration fees covers Georgia Swimming registration, t-shirt, swim cap, and offsets club administrative costs. Registration fees are not refundable or transferable for any reason. USA Swimming will require parents to directly register their swimmers with USA Swimming. Parents will pay swimmer’s USA Swimming registration fee separately to USA Swimming before January.
  3. 2nd & 3rd siblings within the same family may be discounted at half off the lowest cost of group assigned.
  4. SEGA does not prorate monthly dues for any reason, including, but not limited to: vacations, illnesses, injuries, or other extracurricular commitments. If a swimmer has or intends to swim part of any calendar month period, dues must be paid in-full. The Head Coach has the right to move a swimmer up or down at any time within a season following with a 2 week notice to the swim family. 
  5. A surcharge may be applied to monthly dues in the event SEGA must use alternative pools for practice besides Splash in the Boro for a considerable amount of time.

Additional Costs

  • Meet Entry Fees – Variable by meet with respect to event cost and number of events in which the athlete is entered. Typically $20-$30/day of competition
  • Meet Coaching Fees – $20/day of competition.
  • Extra Swim Caps- $5/cap-latex; $12/cap-silicone
  • Extra T-shirts- Variable dependent on cost and quantity 

Private/Semi-Private Coaching

Contact us directly for rates and schedule. 

Requests for Private/Semi-Private Coaching must be made at least 24 hours in advance with a Coach in order to secure pool space. Athletes must be of similar age and ability to do a semi-private session.
